To receipt the materials and prepaid the GRN (Good receipt note).
To intimate the Quality control department on receipt of material after completed verification on material, quantity and container cleanliness.
To issues the materials on receipt of stores requisition slip duly authorized by the production executive or plant manager.
To update the stock on daily basis and issue of material on FIFO (First in first out) or FEFI (First expiry first issue) principle.
To maintain the ledgers, registers files and other documents related to the materials stock with all legal document

To carry out physical stock verification and rectify incase of any discrepancy between book stock and physical stock in consultation with plant manager and Quality Assurance manager.

To ensure the handling of material containers with care so that no adverse effect occurs in the material.
To dispose the rejected or returned of non-conforming goods within in 20 days from its transfer to rejected material stores .
To arrange the return material to stores, periodically review the current material handling procedures and suggest the modification, which compiles the requirements and making smoother system for operation.
Preserving the status notes (release and rejection slip) as a reference and checking of Quality control testing valid date of raw materials and intimation for the same to Quality control department.
Maintain the stock of lone license company, going for the stock checking purpose to LLM / Job Work Company .
To verify the validation, calibration status of all instruments and equipment in the stores area and to intimated the validation and calibration team in advance in case of its expiry.
Maintain the training record as per the training sheet which is given by QA (Quality Assurance department.)
To follow the safety rules and instruction suggested by EHS department.
Operate the ERP Software for Warehouse activity.
