Conduct Process Safety study
Sizing and calculation of Process safety devices
Preparing data sheets for Process safety devices
Defining interlocks for instrumental process safety devices
Vendor co-ordination
Interdiscipline co-ordination Preparation of all kinds of process engineering deliverables along with comprehensive knowledge on compliance with Quality Systems Procedure
Development of PFD and P&ID's
Perform Process engineering calculations such as Mass & Energy balances, process / utility piping hydraulic calculations, etc.
Perform calculations related to process equipment sizing & selection
Preparation of process operation sequence logic and interlocks systems for chemical plant.
Preparation of specification datasheets of chemical process equipment, utility systems & ETP systems.
Co-ordinate with project execution team on process engineering communication & support.
Technical evaluation of vendor quotes for process equipment and other utility/process package items.
Interface with Leads of other departments to reflect the as-on-date input from other departments, as applicable.
Should able to handle and manage various stakeholders in the project.
Communicate with onsite/offshore team for executing the projects.
Travel abroad with assignments for short/long term deputation.
Experience of working in process engineering activities in any of the industries such as Agrochemical / Pharmaceuticals / Fine Chemicals / Specialty Chemicals / Food & Beverages and/or in any of the engineering services company serving the above-mentioned chemical industries.
Hands-on experience working on process calculations related to heat transfer is a must.
Knowledge of calculations related to compressible fluid - Newtonian fluids and non-Newtonian fluids and incompressible fluids is a must.
Knowledge on process design of utility systems for chemical plants.
Knowledge on development of macros with VB code in MS Excel, Hands on experience in any of the process simulation tool and Experience in HAZOP / Process Safety Study and plant commissioning will be an added advantage.
